Local Vibe & Social Hierarchy

To compare Guadalajara to an American city, I would liken it to Dallas, Texas, in terms of expectations. Despite being a large city, it still has a “country” vibe. The populace tends to be more conservative, both in their attitudes and attire, in contrast to Mexico City. I would go so far as to say that people in Guadalajara possess a refined style, partly due to the presence of fewer subcultures and a smaller melting pot scenario.
